All men can see these tactics whereby I conquer, but what none can see is the strategy out of which victory is evolved.

Another pretty crazy week in MLS if I do say so myself. Which I do. Which for sure means all sorts of controvery in the weekly rankings, especially considering this system isn't designed for quick swings, even with massive poor performances like those DC and RSL turned in.

The biggest hard luck story this week though is Toronto still sitting in the basement, despite two wins and eight points from their last five. I don't feel that bad about it though, since considering all season they're still in last place and still have the worst points-per-game numbers in the league, but they're definitely showing signs of life and will for sure be moving up if they keep playing this way. And, if it makes TFC fans feel better, over the last 5 matches (I also track last 5 in my spreadsheet) Toronto would be ranked at #9.

Outside of that, DC and RSL both lose massive points with DC dropping out of first. Again, since it's a slow system I don't feel too bad about that. DC is still third on points-per-game while RSL is fourth. San Jose is still dominating numbers though and it's crazy to see what Wondo has been doing. I personally don't think they'll be able to keep it up, but maybe I'm just hoping as an SKC fan.

Here's the full table.
